How might we make buying mattresses less dull?
SleepMart is a brand of pillows and mattreses made of innovative materials. We analyzed their shopping experience with interviews, journey maps, service safaris, and live prototypes to make it easier for customers to find their ideal mattress.
Our main insight was that people were shy of laying down in front of the store staff, so we created several color-coded elements and visual icons to associate needs with firmness. This way, shoppers are able to navigate the store without feeling anxious or observed.
To apply it in a transversal way, we also redesigned their graphic identity, website, trade fair stands and store interiors.
